The Biggest Betting Wins on Real Madrid Matches

Real Madrid is a club that has made comebacks its trademark. Their history is full of matches where everything seemed decided, but in the final minutes they rewrote destiny. Fans are used to seeing Los Blancos turn football into a drama theatre, where hope lives on until the final whistle. And just like an evening spent at https://froggybet-casino.com/, every game they play is a mixture of excitement, adrenaline and unpredictable emotions.

Champions League: comeback against PSG — March 2022

In February 2022, Real Madrid lost 0-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in Paris and looked pale. In the return match on 9 March at the Santiago Bernabéu, the situation got even worse: Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring, increasing the French side's overall lead to two goals. The scoreboard showed 0-2, and the fans were close to despair.

But in the middle of the second half, the game turned around. In the 61st minute, Karim Benzema took advantage of Donnarumma's mistake to equalise. This goal seemed to breathe life into the team. Ten minutes later, Madrid were already storming the goal. In the 76th minute, Vinicius and Modric played a brilliant combination, and Benzema shot accurately into the corner. The Bernabeu erupted.

A minute later, PSG finally collapsed. Marquinhos misplaced a pass, and Benzema lightning-fast sent the ball into the net, completing his hat-trick. The final score was 3-1. In just 17 minutes, Real Madrid destroyed the French team's hopes.

That night was further proof of the special spirit of the Madrid team: they live to come back from the brink of defeat.

Champions League: semi-final against Manchester City — May 2022

On 4 May 2022, Real Madrid hosted Manchester City in the second leg of the semi-final. The first game in England ended 3-4, and Madrid still had a chance. But everything looked bleak when, in the 73rd minute, Riyad Mahrez made it 5-3 to the English side.

Everything pointed to Guardiola and his team reaching the final. Real Madrid fans began to leave the stands, not believing in a miracle. But as so often happens, that was the moment when the magic began. In the 90th minute, Rodrigo finished off a pass from Carvajal to make it 1-1. The crowd had barely had time to realise what had happened when, a minute later, Rodrigo was first to the ball again and headed it into the net. 2-1!

The aggregate score was level, and the game went into extra time. In the 95th minute, Ruben Dias fouled Benzema in the penalty area. The Frenchman stepped up to the ball himself and coolly converted the penalty. 3-1 — and a place in the final.

Champions League: final against Atlético Madrid — May 2014

On 24 May 2014, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid met in the Champions League final in Lisbon. Atlético took the lead in the first half after a strike from Diego Godín. Madrid attacked, but for a long time could not get past Oblak. Time was running out, and the last seconds of stoppage time were ticking away on the scoreboard.

That's when the moment that would become eternal happened. In the 93rd minute, Luka Modrić took a corner, and Sergio Ramos headed the ball in to equalise. The entire Estádio da Luz shook. The game went into extra time, where Real Madrid dominated.

In the 110th minute, Gareth Bale made it 2-1, seven minutes later Marcelo scored the third goal, and in the final minutes Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty. The final score was 4-1.

Champions League: comeback against Wolfsburg — April 2016

On 12 April 2016, Real Madrid took to the field after a 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg in Germany. A place in the semi-finals was at stake, and Zidane's team had to show character.

From the very first minutes, Madrid pushed forward. In the 16th minute, Karim Benzema cut through the defence and Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal. A minute later, Ronaldo doubled the lead. Wolfsburg faltered, and the stadium sensed a miracle.

In the 77th minute, Madrid earned a dangerous free kick. Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to the ball and scored a hat-trick with a filigree shot. 3-0 — and a ticket to the semi-finals.

That night went down in history as one of Ronaldo's greatest evenings and a reminder that Real Madrid is always capable of a comeback.
