I’m Alistair the Vicar of St Luke’s. I have lived over 25 years in Leeds, but grew up in Watford and am originally from Australia.
I am married to Sue, and we have a daughter (Shona) and son (Callum) along with their wonderful partners plus three grandchildren. We both enjoy walking the Dales, and I particularly love swimming, football (the Hornets) and anything outdoors!
We have worked in an inner-city context for many years. I did my first curacy in Bradford in Great Horton parish, before moving to Rushden in Northamptonshire where we helped plant a church. We returned to Yorkshire in 1998 where I became vicar of Christchurch, Upper Armley, Leeds. From Armley I became the Deanery Missioner before joining St Lukes in 2013.
