Hello I’m Penny original from Namibia. I am brought up in a Christian family was christened  in a Anglican church but I had my confirmation in a Lutheran church  which is  part of Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM) as we didn’t have an Anglican church near by.

I moved to England in 2005 stayed in East London . I moved to Leeds in 2018 . I started worshipping at St Luke’s in 2019. I now work at St Luke’s team this year as a Project Development Coordinator which I am excited about.
I enjoy going  on adventures with my son , Spending time with Friends, playing netball and watching sports.

Hi my name is Laura, I’ve been a member of St Luke’s for most of my life. I am married to my wonderful husband Philip and we have two children Dorothy & Joshua

I work two jobs for the church as the leader of the Spiritual Adventures group (7-11 years olds) and the church administrator. I also work for a local Christian children’s charity called Kidz Klub Leeds and run the local Beavers group at church

When not doing all of the above I love going to the cinema, the gym, going out geocaching, baking and spending time with my friends and family.

I am married to my husband Evi Ekrake for 12 years and we have a lovely daughter call Honey.

I like spending time out with my family and cooking my African meals. At church I mostly do prayers and bible reading which I love and I would love to be part of a singing group someday.

SPACE

Exploring faith. Nurturing young people. Transforming communities
Leeds Space Network is a Christian youth organisation working in Leeds with 11-19-year-olds from the inner-city areas.

Leeds Space Network was set up in 2003 out of a need to offer something to the young people of Leeds and support them as they grew too old for Kidz Klub. Space believes in the positive potential of the young people of this city and we have hope for a new future for individuals and communities.
